ISM is a standard application that is used in exactly the same way by all the organizations that implement it. Thanks to this standardization, organizations can map their processes more quickly and the rules are the same as those for other organizations. This standardization means that user organizations cam more rapidly document their processes and derive their guidelines form this uniform process model. They are being supported by suppliers that work together in the ISM group and that have adopted the standard.
ISM is supported and supplied by the ISM group. The ISM group is a network of specialized companies, coordinated by BHVB. The ISM group consist of:
- BHVB, the company that has developed ISM
- suppliers of publication tools
- suppliers of service management tools
- consultancy partners
